Namib Upholstery is situated in the coastal town of Swakopmund and is a small but flourishing business operating since 2004, owned by Interior
Decorators Volker & wife Gisi Steinsträter,
Namib Upholstery restores old furniture - even antiques, with excellent craftmanship and style. Tatty sofas and decrepit arm chairs get a new glow and
use in everyday life. Our clients can choose between hundreds of textiles which are all imported from South Africa, including leather and suede.
Vehicle Restorations
Namib Upholstery even tackles the interior restoration of cars. Oldtimers can now show off a new and classy interior to go with the well-looked after
exterior.
Cars for everyday life or for safaris can be fully equipped with custom-made car seats or canopies.
Everything at Namib Upholstery is
custom-built and made according to the customer's needs and requirements. |

Lodges & Tented Camps
At Namib Uphostery we also manufacture high quality and stylish structures for top class lodges and tented camps.
Materials used for lodges is impregnated
into an acrylic based chemical making the material waterproof and rot resistant.
All prices are calculated individually depending on the work involved. Our range of operations cover the whole of Namibia, whether you own a lodge in
the Caprivi, or need a chair upholstered in Lüderitz, We Have You Covered.
From bedrolls and camping bags, to car seats and tented camps,
no job is too big or too small for us.
